Young Scot InfoLine can accept calls from people who use the RNID Typetalk national telephone relay service. This enables deaf,hard of hearing and speech-impaired people to communicate with hearing people.
Typetalk is a telephone service for people with hearing difficulties, where a third party operator listens in on the call and transcribes the conversation for the hearing impaired caller directly on to special telephony equipment.
